Brief Introduction

Welcome, and thank you for sponsoring QCon!

QCon is a premier software development conference for senior engineers, architects, and technical leaders. It brings together experienced practitioners to share practical insights, real‑world lessons, and emerging trends in software architecture, development, and team leadership.

The conference features multiple tracks of deep technical content, networking opportunities, and interactive sessions, all designed to help attendees learn, grow, and connect with the community.

This page outlines everything you need to know — from pre‑event planning to on‑site participation and post‑event follow‑up. Please review and share with your marketing, events, and speaker teams.

Phase 02

During the Conference

💡

Make the most of your sponsorship by actively engaging with attendees during breaks — this is the prime opportunity to generate leads. Don't just sit behind your laptop; connect, start conversations, and know your audience! Before the event, we'll share a list of attending companies and job titles (emails not included) so you can review profiles in advance.

Section 1

Lead Generation

Sponsors will have access to the QCon lead generation app, which must be installed on the phones of your registered staff. Credentials will be shared the week before the event. Leads can be scanned at your booth and in the session rooms only.

📱
Offline safety net: If Wi-Fi or app issues occur — nothing is lost! Capture offline and our team will retrieve the info afterward. All leads can also be downloaded from the conference website using the same credentials.
Section 2

In-Person Session (if applicable)

🎤
Session Format
  • Solutions Track sessions are 50 minutes
  • Recommended: 40 min + 10 min Q&A
  • Timeslot selected by our content team
  • Calendar invite sent 2 weeks before
🎟️

Conference participants — including speakers, sponsors, staff, and guests — violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled without a refund. Any form of written, social media, or verbal communication that can be offensive or harassing to any attendee is not allowed. Please inform a QCon staff member if you feel a violation has taken place.
